I love listening to music. And when pregnant, I would put my leg up, pull the shades down and listen to soothing music (elevator music, if you will). I don't just do it for me, I also am doing it for my yet to be born baby.

Would you believe that there are even Prenatal Music Classes being offered? Apparently, it's more of an early bonding classes for parents and the babies; and a way to share the beauty of music very early in the baby's life.

Able to hear on their fifth month, babies can be soothed and be stimulated using music. Other benefits include, "positive simulation of brain waves in the child and bonding of mother and child if mother sings along with the child".
