Prepare Kids for the Heat Wave
Not only is it summer but heat wave is also baking much of the country. It seems like wherever you go the air is stagnant. The temperatures are soaring and there is no wind.

It could be dangerous if we do not take care. If you are home with the kids during this time, best to take extra care to ensure that they do not suffer.

Make sure that they drink a lot to avoid dehydration and to help keep their bodies cool. Yes, even if they do not feel thirsty.

Slathering on some UV lotion when going out is good. But, despite having done that, it still is best NOT to overdo activities under the sun.

Dress them up in light-colored clothes that are lightweight.

NEVER leave kids in a parked car, even if you think you will only be gone for 1 minute! Let several heartbreaking news about child deaths in a parked car due to heat be a lesson to all of us.

Take care of your child and yourself. Don't let sunburn or heatstroke ruin your summer.
