Put Your Kids to Work

My 3-year old son loves it whenever I make him do little chores. It may take him longer to accomplish this little thing but nothing beats seeing how he proud he looks whenever he has done something for me.
He gets excited at the though of doing our groceries because he knows that he could help out whenever we need to put something in the cart. And when we get home from shopping, he eagerly waits for those little packages which he is big enough to put away. He has even taken to putting toys away because he knows that he is "helping mommy clean".
Lifehack has another idea on when to put kids to work. "One trick we're finding is that if we give her a job to do, it's helping her focus and it keeps her much more engaged. Ways one might help a child by giving them purpose at an event or on vacation."
