Bindeez, the "magic beads that join with a spray of water", and named Australia's Toy of the Year in 2007, is immediately and voluntarily recalled by moose Enterprise after three children swallowed the beads and became ill.
The chemical 1,4-Butanediol is when metabolized "turns into a date-rape style drug when swallowed." The kids who swallowed the beads, suffered seizures and spent two weeks in intensive care.
Parents are advised to immediately remove the products and seek immediate medical attention if swallowed.

Amazing... you know when it comes to shopping for toys I would never go past local toy stores. Even local toy stores that have online shop front. Try the link and go to Toy Villa, Double Bay, Sydney
