Recall Alert: Wyeth Recalls Dimetapp & Robitussin
Filed in archive Recall News by Melissa Petri on October 29, 2007

Listen up parents! Pharmaceutical firm Wyeth issued a voluntary recall of several Robitussin and Children's Dimetapp Cold & Chest Congestion today. These products are being recalled not because of the medication itself, but primarily due to the dosage cup that goes with it. The dosage cup lack a half-teaspoon mark, which is the recommended dosage for kids between 2 and 6 years old.
Until the new cups comes out in the market, parents are advised not to use the medicine. The new and improved dosage cups as well as the replacement medicine (yup, you get a replacement) will be made available sometime in early November.
For more information and inquiries regarding the replacement medicines call 800-762-4675 or visit Robitussin.com and Dimetapp.com.
