Restaurant Deals for the budget conscious

Budget tight this summer?

We all do not have to take a vacation with the kids every summer. There are various activities that we can do to make summer at home with the kids fun.

But what if you just want to treat your kids to an afternoon meal?

Eating out does not have to be expensive. As Dianne Hadaway of About.com reported, "many major restaurant chains offer 'Kid's Eat Free' programs and/or reduced price menus for children. Locally owned restaurants may also offer these programs, or may be open to the idea if you suggest it!"

Her tips, guidelines and resource links would surely help financially-challenged parents have an enjoyable meal with the whole family, without having to dig deep into their pockets.

Check it out and you may find that one of the restaurant chains in your vicinity might just be participating in this program.

Hi, I’m Dianne Hadaway, and I just wanted to first say thanks for linking to my article on Kids Eat Free, and secondly to tell you where you can find the article now. I have my own new site at All Info About Single Parenting, http://www.allinfoaboutsingleparenting.com/ and would really appreciate it if you would redirect your links for this or any of my other content to the new site. The link for my copyrighted Kids Eat Free content no longer exists at the former site, but you can find it here: http://www.allinfoaboutsingleparenting.com/index.php?page=37. Again thanks very much! This blog is really great!
