I know, I know, some of you are probably asking now what it has to do with parenting. Well, it could mean A LOT!
Michael of Techware Weblog has featured an interesting twist to this new technology: why infant tagging makes sense. Apparently, "('Hugs') RFID infant protection system has prevented the abduction of a baby at Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte, North Carolina. Read the full report here.
For more older kids, they're even launching RFID pajamas.
In a perfect world, everyone loves kids and no one would dare harm them. But in reality, that is not how it is. And from what we read on the news, I will not be surprised if several parents do avail of these new products.
