Two family tragedies happened in Germany in the past two days. Both resulting to deaths of innocent children.

Just last night, news about a 28 year-old mother and three dead babies were shown in the news. The mother, who had two other living kids, apparently had three other babies. The remains of the three babies were all found in her apartment.

This morning, sad news about another family tragedy was reported in the news. A 31 year-old mother killed her five sons and then reported the crime to the police afterwards. The mother, who is said to be mentally ill, first gave her sons sleeping tablets and then suffocated them afterwards. As to why officials allowed her to keep her kids despite her illness, is a mystery to everyone.

The only good thing that came out from the news today, concerning children, is that the man who raped and killed 14 year-old Hannah is convicted to life imprisonment.

It's a sad day indeed.
