SAHM being targetted by Business Schools
A few women who have opted to put their career on hold to stay home with the kids do think of going back to work, especially when the kids get older. A lot, however, have some doubts in their mind, thinking that their skills are not updated and that the gap from the previous job is way too long.

The transition can be difficult. However, with Business Schools targetting SAHMs to help brush up their business skills, it may not be that hard, after all.

According to Career Journal, "Harvard, Dartmouth and other graduate business programs are launching executive-education courses geared toward women who have put their careers on hold to raise families and are ready to return to the professional world."

Last month, Harvard launched "A New Path: Setting New Professional Directions." For the Fall semester, Dartmouth College's Tuck School of Business will be launching an 11-day program titled "Back in Business: Invest in Your Return."

These are just a few of the confidence builders which are being offered to SAHMs to encourage and/or help them start a new career or jumpstart their old ones.
