Of course, I am still cautious of the way I handle him since, after all, he is still an infant. But, I am now more sure of myself because hey, I have done it before. No more fears of the unknown.
However, having a second baby also means that I (and my husband) am unable to focus solely on him. We have to be very careful that our toddler also gets the attention that he needs and deserve.
Add housework to all of the above and well... it is not surprising that there are frayed nerves at the end of the day.
But, we are learning. We are adjusting and best of all, we are enjoying.

I'm doing research to find out about stresses of moms with a new baby, who also have a toddler at home. How is it going with meeting the needs of the toddler while caring for the baby? What goes well for you--what is frustrating or a problem? Is this situation in itself a problem or not to you moms out there?

I'm focusing not on babycare, but on how well moms feel they can keep their toddler happy and involved in good activities. What goes well for you; and what is frustrating or difficult? Is this situation in itself a challenge or not to you moms out there?
