Sesame Street, Dora the Explorer and other children’s toys from Fischer-Price Recalled

Toymaker Fischer-Price has issued a recall order of its licensed character toys, namely Sesame Street, dora the explorer, and others due to excessive levels of lead.
The surface paints on toys manufactured in China between April 19, 2007 and July 6, 2007 sold alone or parts of sets contain excessive amounts of lead, and if ingested can cause adverse health effects.
These toys were sold in retail stores nationwide between May and August 2007 from $5 to $40.
