Shopping
Does anyone else shop as if they are feeding an army? Is there some genetic code inside me as an Irish and Italian girl from a huge extended family?
It is just my husband, my daughter and myself. But I have enough food and supplies to last through armageddon. If there is a natural disaster, come on over and I'll feed you.
But it extends past that. I shop for the 'next year' for my daughter during the off-season. You can always pick up good deals on the basics. I mean we know they'll need the basics, right? Sigh, my daughter's closet is full and we've had to start moving items to the guest room. In my defense there, she was a 6X/7 for about two years, then an eight and moving into 10/12 but then dropped back to 7 and 8s lately so we have a plethora of sizes and clothes.
I live in the 3,000 square foot house and there are no empty rooms. Am I nuts or just practical? How about you?
