Short Summer Vacation at Home
It's summer and I just started my maternity leave. Instead of putting all my re-arranging and re-decorating plans into action, I have decided to start my week by letting my 3-year old stay home rather than spend his day in the Kindergarten. I thought that a mother-son quality time is in order.

Our activities are limited, though, considering that I am 8-months pregnant.

Our activities for this week include: (1) a trip to the airport viewing deck for some lessons on airplanes, firetrucks, cargo trucks, police cars and all sorts of things which would excite a 3-year old boy; (2) trip to the park/playground; (3) simple crafts at home using dried leaves and sticks picked up during the trip to the park; (4) making pancakes together; (5) watching rugrats together; (6) name that shape and letter game.

I still need to think of some more activities. Otherwise, I may have to lengthen our afternoon naps ;-)

Should you be doing the same, here are a few more suggested summer activities at home. Any other ideas you want to share with us?
