Who doesn't snack? It's part of our daily routine.

Snacking does not have to mean gorging yourself with potato chips, chocolates, or marshmallows. Snacks do not necessarily mean eating something that isn't nutritious.

It could actually be healthy. And for kids, it's important that they get the right snacks at the right time.

Halloween will soon be upon us once again. This could mean candy-frenzy! San Diego's children's Hospital and Health Center has some tips for moms and dads.

Should you run out of ideas on what you could make for your kids, here is a selection of kid recipes for lunch and snacks.

Remember, healthy snacks could also give your children the energy and nutrients they need.
