Stories of Us is a series of videos which shows a dramatization of issues concerning elementary and high school students
.Students collaborated with Christopher Faull in making the videos. They developed the scripts and performed the dramatization of their reality, as they tackle problems in school such as bullying. Every episode shows the story of two students and how they deal with the given issue.
The objective is to engage, rather than tell - to motivate students to discuss and explore the dynamics of the issues and develop an understanding of what happens and why
It would really be helpful if schools in the U.S. start showing these videos to tackle the problem of bullying within and outside it's grounds. I think everybody can relate to the videos since most of us have experienced being bullied once too many. For all we know, this video may even help lower the rate of students going in amok in schools.
Stories of Us is distributed by Readymade Productions in association with Optima Psychologists & Mediators and South Australian Film Corporation.
