Survival

We survived getting back to school supplies while our credit card certainly took a beating from it.

Once upon a time there were very few options for the required school items. I remember when Trapper Keepers hit, that was big time. Of course you could get a few notebooks and folders in cool colors or with a puppy on them but now, things are WIDE open.

You can get anything in almost any pattern. The composition books, so long in the black and white marble, have lots of options now. We ended up with stripes and a patterned one. We loved the mead notebook stickers where you can buy them to customize your notebooks.

We couldn't find the color notebooks Hayley had to have in the smallest size but then I realized she doesn't need the smallest ones. She's in fourth grade, 60 page notebooks aren't practical anymore. We moved up to the 100 page ones. Another silly milestone that makes me sniffle some.

I still have no idea on Indoor Recess Activities to buy for the class. Any suggestions?
