In the Spotlight

These electronic wristbands will contain information like the baby's name, date of birth and a serial number. These bands will be programmed to communicate to an alarm box which is located somewhere else (in the room where the child SHOULD BE, I assume). And should someone take the child away from the room or tampers with the alarm box, the alarm will go off.
In addition, surveillance camera and limited access to nurseries (I actually thought this was a MUST for all hospitals all over the world) will be implemented as added security.
So, should you be set to give birth from March 2007 onwards in Paris, I suggest that you choose the Le Raincy-Montfermeil Hospital as they would have started the giving babies electronic wristbands by that time. Let's hope that more hospitals would follow suit.
