Thanksgiving Entertainment

Ok, so the recipes for the 22nd are already finalized. You've already called every member of the family that you invited. All the linens and porcelain
are already washed and ironed. Everything is prepared for Thanksgiving. But, have you actually thought of what you'll do after the meal is over? If you think that watching football for the rest of the night would suffice, then think again, because it is just one of the few nights of the year (especially if your kids are in college) that the whole family is complete. Rather than sitting for six straight hours watching football, do family activities to get everyone moving and entertained.Activities that the family can do.
1. Let everybody help up with the dishes. Let your dishwasher have a rest, and let everyone (atleast the older ones) help wash the dishes, clean the table, and take out the trash.
2. After eating the delicious meal that Mom prepared, what is the better way to burn calories than a game of family touch football.
3. After a fun and tiring game of touch football, let the kiddies help out and be entertained with a cookie baking class. Prepare your cutest cookie cutters and let their imagination run wild.
4. Prepare a number of DVDs to keep the family entertained as you serve the cookies that you and the kids baked. Or dig out old pictures from past festivities and reminisce about the good old days.
5. And, when the small ones are already in bed, adults can play a round of poker or any card or board game that you have.
