Thanksgiving Murder at Unity Park
Nothing can be more paradoxical as a family murder/homicide in a park and town called Unity. Add to that, a Medea-like crime after Thanksgiving.
A divorced-father killed his children and his ex-wife at Unity Park in Maryland. The bodies of the 43 year-old mother, 3 children aged 6-12, and 40 year-old father were found after officials noticed two cars parked with engines running. The father had what appeared to be a self-inflicted gun-shot wound. A rifle was found near his body.
It seemed that the ex-wife was handing over the kids when the incident happened. The couple had a history of domestic violence and had been separated since 2005.

Oh my gosh, this story just makes my heart skip a beat. It’s horrible. That poor family.
