Baby Blankets are used to keep babies warm. They can also be used to swaddle babies to make them feel secure. It's one of the most used item hence, it is very important that you have a certain standard (guideline) in mind when choosing one.

Personally, I look for the following points when choosing a baby blanket:

• It should be mashine washable as we can expect it to get soiled quickly.
• It has to be made from lightweight and soft material.
• There should be no hazardous attachments (like fringes) which babies could suck on.
• The design should be simple yet, tasteful.

Of all the blankets that I have seen (and believe me, I have seen a lot!), I liked the baby blankets from the blankee company the most.
