Only months after her son's tragic death, Anna Nicole Smith was pronounce dead in a Florida hospital after collapsing in her hotel.

Anna Nicole Smith (aka Vickie Lynn Hogan) gave birth to Daniel in 1987. After her divorce, she worked menial jobs in order to raise her son. Her big break came while she was modelling for Guess Jeans. At 26, she married Texas billionaire J. Howard Marshall II, who was 89 years old. When Howard died a year after they married, Anna fought with the billionaire's son over his estate.

She fought for her share of the estate but lost. Later, she filed for bankruptcy.

Anna Nicole Smith was in the headlines again in Sept. 10, 2006 when her son died from a lethal combination of methadone and two antidepressants. The tragic death of her only son came only days after she gave birth to a girl.

And now... Anna Nicole Smith herself is dead.

I wonder if it was because of depression. If she ever did recover from the death of Daniel Smith.
