Things You Don’t Have To Buy New

If you're looking to save some money ( as all parents are!), you might want to reconsider buying some new stuff. There are products that are usually just good when bought used as when bought new.
Many of these are often resold by their first owners on either craigslist or a garage sale. Look them up on the internet or your local newspapers.
1. CDs and DVDs. Most of these will play just as well when bought used if you know they have been taken cared of.
2. Books. There are plenty of online sellers or you can find these in a local brick-and-mortar used bookstore. As long as they're relatively well kept, the contents don't change and so you'll have just as much fun reading the old copy as the new.
3. Video games. Most kids outgrow games rather quickly. Go to online sellers like Amazon or eBay to find copies of the most popular games just a few months after their release dates.
4. Holiday clothes. People wear them only once a year and so they don't wear out as quickly as everyday clothes do.
5. Jewelry. Diamonds have the most significantly low resale values. They tend to depreciate the moment they are taken out of the jewelry store.
