Till Boredom Us Do Part

I just went to my cousin's second wedding. It was a perfect example of the declining values in our modern society.
The bride is seven months pregnant. The groom wore his hair in a ponytail. The bridesmaid was the bride's daughter from a previous marriage.
The happy couple met at his mother's house, where friends of the couple were allegedly selling and using drugs while the groom's mom was out of town. Bride and groom both deny participating in these activities.
My cousin was happily married when she met the man she would divorce for. Her ex was a hard worker and a good provider. Yet, my cousin chose to run around with an alcoholic
friend and make new friends of a questionable nature.
If you ask me, this is a perfect example of how much morals have declined in modern times. We used to tough things out, even if the husband was abusive. Now we marry and divorce on a whim.
I had to go to the wedding. She's my cousin and I wanted to show my support for her. I just can't help imagining an angry God watching this from Heaven with a thunderbolt in his hand, and I can't help wondering why my cousin left such a good husband for this.
