Too Many Toys
Toys, if chosen well, can help teach and train our kids. It's one of the best ways for kids to learn and have fun, at the same time.
But… there is such a thing as having too many toys. As I have seen from my own son, he does not value them as much anymore. And, on the practical side of things, I sometimes find it wasteful to get him something really nice, only to see him toss it aside after a couple of days' play.
So, last weekend, my husband and I have decided to sort through his toy collection and…
- give some of the toys which my son has anyway already forgotten
- put a few in the basement and constantly change the "stock" at home, once in a while
- be gone with all the mess by following Inside motherhood's advise.
