Toys for Babies on the Go

Sometimes, having a baby in tow make going on errands a tad bit more difficult. Lucky are those who have babies who sit happily in their strollers, look quietly at the scenes around them and simply close their eyes when they get sleepy. If you have such a baby, bless your lucky stars. But for those who have babies like mine, getting errands done is always a frantic dash. Forget reviewing product labels, trying on clothes, or browsing for books with kids in tow. Each time we head out, I always have a feeling someone's put a timer on and the time started ticking as soon as I strapped the stroller seatbelt on.
Of course, every now and then, I am able to buy time with toys made fore babies on the go. My daughter's favorite is Lamaze's Clutch Cube… for about a week. Oh well, I suppose the trick is to have a number of those toys, and use something different at each outing. It is also important to choose age-specific toys. Portable shape sorters can buy you a lot of window-shopping time, but perhaps if you're with a toddler who already knows how to use it in the first place. For a half a year old, it could be interesting for about, um, 12 minutes.
What's the best stroller toy you've ever tried?
