Update on Lakshmi
Ever wonder what happened to Lakshmi, the Indian girl who had 8 limbs? Doctors presented her to the media, a week after her surgery.
The girl, named after the Hindu Goddess Lakshmi appeared healthy and alert as she was presented to the media. Although both legs were still in casts, her arms were free. A week after the parasitic twin was removed from Lakshmi's body, she already left the ICU and is said to be progressing and responding well to her treatment.
